The dinosaurs were beginning to learn math. One of them was not really good and was trying to divide by zero. Since we know, we cannot really divide by zero (unless you are using calculus), that poor dinosaur ripped a hole in the universe. As a result, the hole caused a meteor shower which lead to the death of dinosaurs.
