The most important FCC vote of our lifetime is about to happen.
On Feb 26 the FCC will vote to save net neutrality or let Comcast and other ISPs create Internet slow lanes. Some members of Congress, on behalf of their Cable donors, are trying to stop the FCC from protecting the Internet we love. There isn't much time to stop them, contact them now.
Last year, more than 40,000 websites participated in the Internet Slowdown to demand real net neutrality. It worked! But monopolistic Cable companies are pouring millions into a last ditch effort to derail the FCC's historic vote. Help us flood Washington, DC with calls and emails to show lawmakers that the whole Internet is watching, and we're literally counting down the seconds until we get real net neutrality.

A divisibility rule is a shorthand way of determining whether a given number is divisible by a fixed divisor without performing the division, usually by examining its digits. Below are divisibility rules for numbers 1 through 20. This chart and printable guide were compiled and prepared by Gregory Tewksbury, a co-founder of Calculus Humor!
Attached is also a printable pdf of these rules! Feel free to use for personal use or classroom use only!
Neil Armstrong: The First Man on the Moon, Has Died
Neil Armstrong, first man to walk on moon, dies at age 82.
Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon, died Saturday, days after his 82nd birthday. He underwent heart surgery earlier this month.
Armstrong commanded the Apollo 11 spacecraft that landed on the moon on July 20, 1969. He and fellow astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin spent nearly three hours on the moon.
The Astronaut and his wife, Carol, made their home in Indian Hill.
This is the statement from the Armstrong Family:
“We are heartbroken to share the news that Neil Armstrong has passed away following complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures.
Neil was our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Neil Armstrong was also a reluctant American hero who always believed he was just doing his job. He served his Nation proudly, as a navy fighter pilot, test pilot, and astronaut. He also found success back home in his native Ohio in business and academia, and became a community leader in Cincinnati.
He remained an advocate of aviation and exploration throughout his life and never lost his boyhood wonder of these pursuits.
As much as Neil cherished his privacy, he always appreciated the expressions of good will from people around the world and from all walks of life.
While we mourn the loss of a very good man, we also celebrate his remarkable life and hope that it serves as an example to young people around the world to work hard to make their dreams come true, to be willing to explore and push the limits, and to selflessly serve a cause greater than themselves.
For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink.”

This started as a way to express the admins' love of calculus and math in general. As result, this has turned into a gathering place for math-based humor and weekly challenges.
