Math is used in everything you see, including space. This presentation is about how mathematics were used in Kepler's Laws on Planetary Motion, plus how Gauss used those laws to determine the orbit of Ceres. This was made for The Cincinnati Observatory's annual ScopeOut event.
This started as a way to express the admins' love of calculus and math in general. As result, this has turned into a gathering place for math-based humor and weekly challenges.
